Visegrád countries: EU’s food independence had to be ensured
An Extraordinary Meeting of the Agrarian Chambers of the Visegrád Four Countries (V4) was held on 1-2 June 2017 in Nadarzyn, near Warsaw.
The Agrarian Chambers of the Visegrad Four (V4) believe that the Common Agricultural Policy is the foundation of the European Union and has a number of common goals. To this end, it has to maintain a strong budget and continue to ensure the EU’s food independence, thus contributing to sustainable development – was said at the extraordinary meeting of the ministers of agriculture of the V4 countries.
