Visa Europe: card use continues to grow in Hungary
Visa Europe announced today its results for Hungary in 2013. Despite the fact that 2013 was a challenging year for the Visa on the Hungarian market, the Visa card usage has grown steadily, a further growth is expected in 2014.
Visa Europe is now working to bring new Visa products and payment solutions set to the Hungarian market, such as the Visa contactless technology, or Visa’s first digital wallet service, the V.me by Visa.
In Hungary the number of POS transactions increased by almost 20 percent, while the number of transactions per card was 4.5 points higher, compared to the level of the end of 2012.
