A virus-neutralizing, reusable mask has been developed in Portugal
According to its makers, the mask is made with an innovative coating that neutralizes the coronavirus when it comes in contact with the mask material, and this effect persists after more than 50 washes. The mask is made of different layers of waterproof and reusable fabric.
Virologist Pedro Simas said during testing that the MOxAd-Tech mask neutralized 99 percent of the pathogens by exposing the virus for an hour. The effect of the mask was tested according to international standards. (portfolio.hu, MTI)
