Vincent’s Day wine competition and wine tour in Somlószőlős
On the last Saturday in January, Vincent’s Day traditions will be revived on the Somló Hill. Saint Vincent is the patron saint of winemakers. On the occasion of Vincent’s Day wine competition, wine tour and concert will await the public – the organizer informed MTI.
The Somló Vineyards Association expects about 25 family wineries to take part in the event organized on 21 January on the second Vincent’s Day wine feast. At the wine competition, the 2016 vintage craft wines of family-run wineries, including the Vári-Kovács Pince, the Balogh Családi Pince and the Söth Pince will take part – Balogh Zsuzsa the organizer said.
