VinAgora Award Gala at Millenáris Teátrum

Traditional, international wine competition between 4-6 July in Balatonalmadi. The Award Gala take was on 5. September in Budapest. Hungarian wines won 4 champion medals.

 VinAgora International Wine Competition
is active member of VinoFed (Organization of Big International Wine
and Spirit Competitions) and enjoys the professional patronage of OIV
(International Wine and Spirit Organization), and UIOE(International
Organization of Winemakers).

VinAgora has developed the most up to
date wine judging IT system of the world. It is used during wine
evaluations and the system was already used successfully at Mondial
du Pinot Noir in Switzerland, and at Vino Ljubljana in Slovenia.

The 'VinAgora Macaron' (a complementary
label of the medal winning wines) has become identical with the
trademark of quality.

Number of wines entered were 554,
number of Hungarian gold medal wines: 37, number of Hungarian silver
medal wines were 80. Three Hungarian wines won champion medals, one
from Hilltop Neszmély, one from Monyok winery and one from
Winery from Mátyás Szõke.

161 wines came from abroad, from them
17 won gold medal and 30 silver.
