VIMOSZ: the business mood in tourism continued to improve in March
In March, the TKI tourism business index stood at plus 4 points on the scale between minus 100 and plus 100, which means that the players in the sector perceive their situation to be slightly improving again after three quarters of a year – the results of the latest survey were announced on Tuesday by the National Association of Tourism and Hospitality Employers ( VIMOSZ) on Tuesday with MTI.
After a slight increase in January and a significant increase in February, the value of the index increased by another 7 points in March, and was last at this level in June 2022. The March improvement in all three sub-sectors (accommodation services, hospitality, other) made its impact felt. In the other tourism sector, the value of the index increased significantly – to a record level since the beginning of the measurement. In the accommodation service, the indicator jumped in February.
