A world-leading logistics company is moving its domestic operations to Páty
One of the world’s most important logistics providers, DHL Supply Chain, which is part of the DHL Group, will take possession of its 20,000-square-meter rental property in the largest contiguous modern industrial building in the Budapest area at the beginning of January 2024. The 58,000-square-meter, “zero ready” PT1 warehouse hall of the HelloParks Páty megapark was prepared in such a way that it even enables operation with net zero emissions, thanks to which the logistics company can already meet its corporate expectations set for 2025. Closing the deal is an important milestone, as it is the company’s first building suitable for carbon-neutral operations in the region.
The PT1 hall, handed over in the summer of 2023, was built in accordance with the strict standards and the requirements of the EU Taxonomy to achieve the Outstanding rating of the New Construction category of the BREEAM sustainability standard, the highest level, just like all HelloParks warehouse halls handed over this year or currently under construction. In addition to the efficient operating conditions, this also means that ISO 14001-certified raw materials were used and construction waste was selectively treated from the start of construction, and more than 85 percent of it was recycled. This year, the Big Box type facility of the Páty megapark won the prestigious European Property Awards Five Star investment recognition.
