Hungary is the 10th on the CBI rank list
Australia win the title of world's top country brand for the third consecutive year.
An annual country branding index (CBI) designed to
track travel trends and pinpoint opportunities for tourism had Canada
rising to second place. Other countries to make the top 10 were USA,
Italy, Switzerland, France, New Zealand, Britain, Japan and Sweden.
The FutureBrand study has ranked
countries across the world on the basis of 30 different
categories. According to the CBI by price/value Hungary arrived only on the 8th
place, last year we were on the 2th, but this time India get the
silver medal. Africa, Asia Pacific and the Middle East are
experiencing higher growth rates than the world average, in terms of
total travel and tourism demand. While the mature markets most
notably the Americas and Europe are falling below the world average,
the report said.
