Hotel prices increased worldwide
After the decline of seven consecutive quarters, in the second quarter of this year hotel prices increased worldwide, for the first time with an average of 2 percent, compared to a year earlier – reports Hotels.com, that belongs to the Expedia group.
In the first quarter, prices stagnated or declined. In Europe and in the Caribbean areas, hotel prices increased by an average of 1 percent, in America by 3 percent. Prices in Asia have not changed, compared to the previous year. However, even with the current price increases the hotels did not reach the pre-crisis levels, but the trend indicates an improvement in the situation of the sector – reports MTI.
