Hungary is the number one global dental tourism destination

According to some estimates Hungary became the leader in dental tourism even on a global level. In Europe, Hungary is the leader for many years, but now the country overtook the former world leader Mexico.

Last year, about 70 thousand foreigners came to Hungary, which is a slight increase compared to the previous year. It is an improvement, compared to 2008-2009 as well, but it is true that it is still lower than the pre-crisis level – told Szakonyi Gábor, the Senior Vice President of the Hungarian Dental Association, and the Managing Director of the VitalEurope Dental Center – to Világgazdaság.
