Record Russian wheat export is expected
Russia can export more wheat this year than any other country exported before, according to Russian analysts.
According to the latest forecast by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA), Russian wheat exports will be 36 million tonnes. Based on the current dynamics of exports, it is possible to exceed this amount.
Russia’s economic research firm, the SovEcon, for example, expects exports to be 36.6 million tonnes of wheat. The Russian Ministry of Agriculture expects to export 35 million tonnes of wheat. (MTI)
