International company on a cooperative basis
Dutch-owned FrieslandCampina is the world’s biggest dairy company that operates on a cooperative basis. It has 80 factories all over the world, 2 of which are located in Hungary. FrieslandCampina’s Hungarian affiliate has been operating for 21 years and in 2013 its net sales were HUF 25 billion. They employ more than 600 people and cooperate with 50 dairy farmers and 450 other suppliers. Their brands include Mia, Milli, Oké, Completa and Hungary’s top brand Pöttyös.
