The world’s ten least expensive travel destinations
The Hoppa carried out the ranking of the world’s cheapest destinations – penzcentrum.hu wrote. In order to find the cheapest destinations, the editors have calculated how much an average tourist can spend a day. A total of 84 cities were compared.
They calculated with the typical costs of tourists:
A 3 km taxi ride
One night in a hotel
A mug / pint of beer
A cup of coffee
A bottle of wine
A cocktail
Based on these criteria, the world’s cheapest destinations in 2017 are:
10. Sliema, Malta HUF 18 690
9. Mexico City, Mexico – HUF 18 322
8. Manila, Philippines – HUF 16 974
7. Kiev, Ukraine – HUF 16 913
6. Siem Reap, Cambodia – HUF 16 246
5. Antalya, Turkey – HUF 15 915
4. Bucharest, Romania – HUF 15 877
3. Cartagena, Colombia – HUF 14 340
2. Cairo, Egypt – HUF 14 149
1. Sofia, Bulgaria – HUF 13 380
