February was a good month in retail trade
In February 2019 like-for-like retail volume sales (combined sales of physical stores, mail order companies and online shops) augmented by 8.4 percent – adjusted for calendar effects – reported the Central Statistical Office (KSH). Food and food-type retail sales increased by 4.8 percent. Non-food sales grew by 10.8 percent. Sales by online shops and mail order companies (these have a 5-percent market share) augmented by 20 percent. Motor fuel volume sales rose 13.8 percent. //
