Tesco bought the Blinkbox on demand video service company. The British supermarket chain is trying to expand its online profile.
The British supermarket chain has bought the 80 percent of Blinkbox, from Eden Ventures and Nordic Venture Partners investment firms. The value of the transaction is not known. “Whether one want to buy DVD movies or rent or watch them as stream, TESCO provides all opportunities to the customers” – commented the decision Richard Brasher, Tesco's UK business unit general manager to the Telegraph – reports Világgazdaság Online.
