Rural Development Agency: farmers will receive a higher amount of advances this year
This year, the Hungarian farmers will receive a higher amount of advances this year from the EU agricultural supports in the rest of the year – the president of the Agricultural and Rural Development Agency told in Mezőfalva on Wednesday at a farmers’ forum.
Gyuricza Csaba told that the annual agricultural subsidies are around an overall 420-430 billion HUF, of which at least 200 billion HUF advances should be paid by the end of the year. He noted that the European Union allowed a maximum of 70 percent advance payment. (MTI)
