Happy box days

In two days nearly 320,000 beverage carton boxes were collected at the third Happy Box Days in the Budapest Zoo, an event organised by Beverage Carton Environmental Union, in the middle of September. Every kid who brought 10 empty milk or fruit juice cartons to the entrance of the zoo could enter free of charge. This year 2,600 children used this opportunity – back in 2009 only 900 kids came. Collected boxes were transported by the organisers to be recycled.
