Change of leadership at the head of Henkel’s Hungarian Consumer Brands business
Maurizio Salvaggio will be the new Head of Consumer Brands at Henkel Hungary from 1 April 2025. He will take over the position from Zsuzsanna Szak, who will continue her career within the company at Henkel’s headquarters in Düsseldorf.
After her position as Head of Consumer Brands in Hungary, Zsuzsanna Szak will be looking for new professional challenges from 1 April and will continue her career at Henkel’s headquarters in Düsseldorf. In her new assignment, she will join Henkel’s Global Laundry & Home Category team, where she will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing communication strategies for dishwasher detergents. Zsuzsanna led Henkel’s Consumer Brands business in Hungary for almost five years, during which time she successfully managed, among other things, the integration of Henkel’s Laundry & Home Care and Beauty Care areas into the local organization. Under her leadership, a modern, future-oriented structure was created, with flexible, efficient, collaborative sales, marketing and supply chain teams. Despite the economic challenges of recent years, the domestic business has consistently performed successfully, supported by strong brands and market-leading products in several categories. “I am proud to leave Henkel Hungary and look forward to supporting Henkel’s development internationally with new strategies in my new role,” said Zsuzsanna Szak.

During his career, he has gained extensive knowledge in sales, trade marketing, category management, NRM, new product categories and customer relations. He is an innovative and strategic thinker who approaches business challenges with a broad perspective, analytically and practically, and always strives to achieve the best results in new situations. He has extensive experience in change management, in the design and implementation of new organizational models, and as a coach in the development of diverse teams, with a particular emphasis on gender equality. Maurizio brings an open and trustworthy approach to his work. His commitment to customers and consumers and his interest in consumer behavior have led to outstanding results throughout his career.
