Leadership change at Fornetti: Nándor Szabó is the new Managing Director
Nándor Szabó will take on the role of CEO of Fornetti from July 1, 2025, the company announced in Kecskemét. The new leader brings extensive experience in the consumer goods and food industry, including from his roles at Mars Inc. and Globus Konzervipari Zrt. The strategic goal of Fornetti’s owner, ARYZTA Group, is to further strengthen its position in the Central European market under Szabó’s leadership.
Nándor Szabó began his career at Mars Inc., where he gained experience in purchasing, controlling and finance, and later served as CFO. He then served as CFO of a Hungarian food company, before becoming CEO. In 2012, he joined Globus Zrt., where he worked as a senior manager for more than ten years, most recently as CEO, leading a European-level multinational team with full P&L responsibility.
According to Michael Schai, CEO of ARYZTA Group, Szabó’s experience and leadership achievements are a great fit for Fornetti’s strategic vision. He stated that they are convinced that under the new leader’s leadership, the company can serve its partners and consumers even more effectively, further strengthening its regional position. Nándor Szabó will report directly to Michael Schai.
With his complex experience in finance, sales, marketing, project management and operations, Fornetti’s new leader can contribute to the company’s development and increase the efficiency of operations.
