New leader for Metro

José Maria Cervera (42) will become the new CEO of Metro Cash & Carry Hungary on 1. August. The new CEO had worked in various positions for the Spanish Makro chain, becoming Food Purchase Director in Spain in 1998. Metro Cash & Carry Hungary achieved a growth in sales in 2006.
