Seed Alliance: Hungary is the sixth most important seed exporting country
Hungary is the sixth in world seed exports. The country’s climatic weather conditions are excellent for seed production – Pavelka Árpád, chairman of the Seed Society Interprofessional Organization and Product Board (VSZT) told M1 channel.
He reported on the Seed World Congress in Budapest that was held on Monday and said that this year’s biggest event of the seed industry professionals attracted 1,700 specialists.
He added that the international alliance represents 7500 companies and 75 national federations.
Pavelka Árpád emphasized that the international and Hungarian alliances are working to introduce new breeding methods and new innovations into world trade. (MTI)
