Deficit at Carrefour's
Despite Carrefour's revenue increased 2.3 percent in the first half of this year, the company recorded a loss of 249 million euros. In 2010, profit rate was 97 million euros.
The Paris-based retail chain, half-yearly revenue increased to 39.61 billion euros from last year's 38.71. The profitability calculated without one-off items fell to 153 million euros from the 302 million of 2010.
Carrefour, after Wal-Mart is the second largest retail chain – reports mfor.hu.
