Veszprém expects tourism boom from the 1.2 billion urban development
The ”Monasteries and gardens at the foot of the Veszprém castle” 1.2 billion HUF urban development project has ended. In the scope of the project several new monuments were renewed, some boardwalks were established and a recreation, playground and a pond have been added as well.
The viewpoint of the St. Stephen viaduct and the promenade of Mount St. Benedict have also been renewed. The Mayor emphasized that a direct connection between the old town castle and the zoo was also established. 280 thousand guests visiting the zoo annually – reports MTI Profitline.hu.
