The grapes of the northern shore of the Lake Balaton are at risk
According to local wine producers due to real estate speculators and due to the aging of the plantations the grapes of the northern shore of the Lake Balaton are in danger. This is a threat to the lake scenery as well.
A significant part of the vineyards with a lake view are in danger on the north coast. Many vineyards are old, neglected and weedy – Kovács Tamás, the head of the Szent Donát Estate and secretary of the Csopaki Code drew attention at the press conference of the Riesling In our Views meeting on Saturday in Csopak.
