According to the Lidl the “Hungarian milk action” program may violate the competition law
The Lidl Magyarország in terms of the sales of milk also aims to serve the maximum demand of customers, along with the strategic decision to place great emphasis on offering milk and dairy products produced by the Hungarian producers, in order to support the domestic producers.
From the beginning Lidl Magyarország considered the customer satisfaction very important, and to serve the consumer needs, which refers to the practice of selling milk. The company understands the hard situation of the Hungarian dairy farmers, however, cannot join to the “Hungarian Milk action” under the current conditions. The department store chain's decision is based on the full compliance with the Hungarian legislation.
