Competition Authority initated proceeding in melon case
The Hungarian Competition Authority (GVH) initated proceedings against a number of domestic commercial chains, because they assume that they violated the prohibition of restrictive agreements in case of watermelon sales – the Competition Authority told MTI on Thursday.
Into the procedure, the Competition Authority involved the ALDI Magyarország Élelmiszer Bt., the Auchan Magyarország Kft., the CBA Kereskedelmi Kft., the Lidl Magyarország Kereskedelmi Bt., the SPAR Magyarország Kereskedelmi Kft. and the TESCO-GLOBAL Áruházak Zrt., as well as the Hungarian Watermelon Alliance Public Nonprofit Association and the Hungarian Fruit and Vegetable Interprofessional Organization and Product Council.
