In a 21st-century environment the food on offer is typically 20th-century. What we get is the usual ‘beach food’: hake, fried sausage, pancake and hamburger are sold at practically each stall. Various meats and sausages cost HUF 3-400 per 100g, Mainstream beers can be bought for HUF 350-390 and premium ones cost HUF 400-600. Ice cream quality varies greatly, we got two scoops for HUF 300-500.
