Paid entry will be introduced in Venice from April 25
In Venice, starting from April 25, the entrance ticket of 5 euros per day will be introduced on an experimental basis for the time being and on 29 different days. Mayor Luigi Brugnaro reported on the details of this at his press conference in Rome on Thursday.
There will be a charge to enter the city of Venice from April 25 to 30, May 1 to 5, and all other Saturdays and Sundays in May, all weekends from June 8, and July 6-7 and 13-14 I.
During the pilot phase, those arriving in Venice must reserve tickets in advance on a multilingual registration site (cda.ve.it). All visitors over the age of 14 must buy the daily €5 ticket if they enter between nine thirty in the morning and four in the afternoon. Admission is free during the rest of the day.
