New horticulture and food industry tenders can be reviewed
Based on the Strategic Plan of Hungary’s Common Agrarian Policy, the social consultation of the new rural development investment tenders has begun. In the first round, those interested can familiarize themselves with the drafts of the support schemes entitled “Support for horticultural greenhouses, cold storage and post-harvest developments”, “Complex support for processing plants” and “Support for processing plants”, announced Zsolt Feldman, the Secretary of State responsible for agriculture and rural development at the Ministry of Agriculture.

The KAP Strategic Plan includes the framework and possibilities of Hungarian agricultural and rural development subsidies for farmers, food producers and settlements in our rural areas until 2027. The aim of the Ministry of Agriculture is to ensure that a competitive, 21st century, modern agriculture and processing industry operates in Hungary. We focus on supporting investments where their added value is proven, which are financially sound, and in which the investing company maintains long-term sales or procurement relationships with its business partners, as well as intends to make merit in order to use digitization solutions as widely as possible – explained the state secretary.
In the case of all support schemes, we carry out extensive professional consultations, we ask for the proposals and opinions of the relevant professional organizations and institutions, and based on the practice of the past years, we involve them in the preparation of calls for tenders.
