Our WATER VISION will be complete with you – Cup Revolution is launching a national design competition
Hungary’s number one reusable cup system, Cup Revolution, is launching a graphic competition on the occasion of World Water Day. The winning works of the competition, called VÍZió, can be placed on the half-liter RevoCups widely available in clubs and events, thereby encouraging young people to be environmentally conscious, to use water wisely, and to reuse durable plastic cups. The organizers are waiting for applications until April 12, with which the participants can win valuable prizes.
A catering dishwasher uses an average of 2.3 liters of water to wash 20 glasses, which means 11.5 centiliters of water per glass. For comparison, Cup Revolution’s special washing and drying equipment, which is present in large sports facilities and in Budapest Park, washes 10,000 RevoCups with 300 liters of water, i.e. it uses almost a quarter of the amount, only 3 centiliters of water per cup.
Based on a circular solution, the RevoCup not only plays a role in reducing water consumption, but also in reducing the amount of waste, thus helping sustainability in restaurants, sports events, festivals and various event venues. RevoCups, which can be used more than 500 times, can be returned by consumers in more and more places across the country, without which it is not possible to keep the cups in circulation.
