The Church of England will open groceries
England's largest Christian church, the Church of England encourages the managers of church buildings, to permit the operation of groceries with bank terminal facilities in the churces in almost every rural village.
The Anglican Church hopes, that this move will have a community-forming impact, because often the religious buildings are the only community spaces for residents of the small villages, where otherwise only a few public buildings can be found.
The Anglican Church in the near future will issue a guide, identifying how to convert the different parts of the church properties, to sell food and household products. However, they advise to the church leaders to consult with the local community before starting to open a store and be careful not to hurt the interests of the existing businesses – reports penzcentrum.hu.
