Variable quality of the grain harvest

The rainfalls of June, harm the cereals: the quality of this year's barley and wheat are mixed.
According to the announcement of the Ministry of Agriculture which was harvested before the rainfalls had good which harvested later had weaker quality.

The autumn barley, that has been harvested has a medium quality, suitable for animal feed, although the crude protein content is often lower than the species-specific value. The harvest of autumn barley almost completed. The average yield is 3603 tonnes per hectare. This amount is 25 percent lower than last year and 14 percent less than the five-year average.
The average yield of the autumn wheat is 3 707 per hectare. The final production estimations calculate with about 3549 tonnes per hectare average yield, and  4 038 million tonnes of total production. This is 29 percent less than last year, and about 20 percent less than the five-year average – reports MTI.
