The Danone factory in Hungary was closed permanently
The Budapest-based Danone Tejtermék Gyártó és Forgalmazó Kft. (Danone Dairy Production and Distribution Ltd.) finished milk production in Hungary in June.
The Danone Group has transferred the production to Hungary to other European units of, but soured Danone products will be available further on the domestic market, while the Danone Kft. remains the group's regional headquarters. Almost 80 percent of the Hungarian workers affected with the factory closure have new jobs already and the company also found new buyers for its supplying milk production partners. (agrarszektor.hu)
