Richárd Végh became the new CEO of KAVOSZ Zrt.
Budapest, November 3, 2025 – From November 3, 2025, Richárd Végh will hold the position of CEO of KAVOSZ Zrt. With the appointment, the company aims to further develop the Széchenyi Card Program, expand the financing opportunities of domestic enterprises and strengthen digitalization with a new approach.
The new leader will be responsible for the operational management of the company and the strategic development of the Széchenyi Card Program. His task will be to further digitize the company’s operations, expand cooperation with financial service providers, and increase the awareness and accessibility of the program.

Richárd Végh has more than 20 years of experience in the domestic financial and corporate sector. He began his career at the Budapest Stock Exchange as an economic analyst, then continued his work as a director. After that, he headed the Capital Markets and Market Supervision Directorate of the Hungarian National Bank. He then rejoined the Budapest Stock Exchange, this time as CEO, where he led the company for nearly 10 years. He is credited with developing a stock exchange strategy focusing on domestic medium-sized companies in 2016, which resulted in 40 new companies being listed on the exchange, and in 2023, the BSE itself went public. From May 2025, he worked as a key presidential advisor to the Hungarian National Bank. His professional work is also characterized by a commitment to sustainability: as the president of the Sustainability Department of the Hungarian Economic Society, he takes an active role in strengthening the relationship between the economy and environmental responsibility.
In his work so far, Richárd Végh has considered the coordinated management of strategic planning and implementation, the development of organizational culture and the conscious building of partnerships to be important. During his managerial career, he has played a prominent role in implementing programs aimed at increasing digital transformation and operational efficiency. He has in-depth knowledge of financial and capital market structures, which provides a solid foundation for KAVOSZ Zrt.’s future financial and strategic decisions.
With the new CEO, KAVOSZ Zrt. will continue to work committedly to ensuring that domestic businesses receive predictable, professionally sound and efficient support. The organization is working on new development plans and modern product ideas to ensure that the financing toolkit will be able to adapt to the rapidly changing economic environment in the future. KAVOSZ continues its professional work in close cooperation with its owners – MKIK and VOSZ – and its financial partners to help Hungarian businesses develop, become more competitive and operate sustainably.
