Vegetarian cooking training to start in Austria next year
In early 2025 a course for cooks specialising in vegetarian cuisine will be launched in Austria. The plan initially met with strong opposition from industry and employee representatives, who argued that the training wasn’t in line with the realities of the hospitality industry, as only 11% of Austrians follow a vegetarian or vegan diet. The three-year course can be taken in a dual format, combined with traditional cook training.//
