The first ENVIRONTEC exhibition has come to an end
One of the most important international trade fairs of the environmental protection profession has come to an end, which put the cooperation of organizations committed to sustainability and climate protection on a new foundation. Its focus was on the environmental industry, waste and water management, air cleanliness and sustainable, innovative solutions. ENVIRONTEC powered by ÖKOINDUSTRIA is a new development of HUNGEXPO, in close cooperation with the Association of Environmental Service Providers and Manufacturers (KSZGYSZ). Both the exhibitors and the visitors evaluated the event as a success, which, in addition to the novelties on display, also included a number of professional conferences.
3,000 professional visitors took part in the three-day event. In the HUNGEXPO Budapest Congress and Exhibition Center, more than 100 exhibitors from seven countries (Austria, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Croatia, Germany, Italy, Switzerland) and Hungary) presented their latest developments and most successful projects on 1,100 square meters, offering visitors the opportunity to get to know the domestic and foreign innovations that play an important role in the field of green transition and climate adaptation.
At the opening of ENVIRONTEC, Dr. Raisz Anikó, State Secretary for the Environment and Circular Economy of the Ministry of Energy (ME) said that the Hungarian government is committed to achieving economic growth in the spirit of sustainability in addition to strengthening competitiveness, and several specific measures have been taken in connection with this. in recent years. He added: the development of the circular economy is also a high priority in this country. Moreover, not only from an environmental point of view, but also because it can reduce the risks resulting from the lack of resources and increase the industry’s resistance to price fluctuations.
