The Shanghai Fair in Budapest has ended
Shanghai’s Hungarian debut was a success The Budapest leg of the Shanghai Fair Trade Show, one of the world’s largest exhibition series supported by the Chinese state, took place on October 30-31 at the Hungexpo.
The event, which attracted several thousand visitors, was attended by around 130 Chinese high-tech enterprises from a wide range of segments. Among others, presentations were given at the event by Katalin Bihari, Deputy State Secretary for Foreign Trade Development at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, CEO of HEPA, and Sun Jianping, President of the Shanghai Services Federation.
The event was primarily attended by representatives of Hungarian enterprises, for whom this concentrated presence offered an excellent opportunity to establish even more direct contacts with Chinese manufacturers and service providers. Pre-arranged personal meetings between representatives of Chinese and Hungarian companies also helped to establish as much contact as possible, said Mónika Szabó, managing director of Gold Communications Kft., which supported the organization and communication of the event from the Hungarian side.
