Nestlé is expanding its portfolio with vegan and vegetarian meat alternatives
Nestlé’s plant-based Garden Gourmet product line is also available in Hungary: the delicious, quick-frozen meat alternatives will be available for the first time in the non-household segment. Garden Gourmet products contribute to the quantity daily protein intake and offer a varied main meal for vegans, vegetarians and even flexarians in the spirit of a sustainable, balanced diet.
According to a 2017 study by Nestlé, 30 percent of the consumers worldwide are striving to eat less meat or even leave it altogether, and have become even more aware of food, nutrition and health since the outbreak of the pandemic.
