The Ministry of Rural Development stimulates the Hungarian pork consumption with trademarks
With the introduction of the High Quality Pork (KMS), the Ministry of Rural Development (VM) is trying to support the increase of the domestic pig population and domestic consumption of pork – Feldman Zsolt Minister of State of the Ministry announced on Tuesday in Budapest.
Feldman Zsolt at the heralding press conference of the Easter campaign, that aims to promote the Hungarian pork said that they want to double the current number of pigs to about three million. There was about 5 million pigs in Hungary in 2002, while around 1990 about 10 million. (MTI)
