A Belgian-Hungarian investor group is building a logistics park on the border between Vecsés and Gyál
WLP (Weerts Logistics Park) and RaktárAD, with a Belgian-Hungarian ownership background, are building a 241,000 square meter logistics base on the border of Vecsés and Gyál, with an investment of 175 million euros, the investor group told MTI, whose project in Vecsés is the third project in Hungary.
According to the announcement, the Belgian WLP is building four giant halls of 50,000 square meters in size, primarily suitable for hosting large logistics companies, on a 60-hectare area near Liszt Ferenc Airport.
Its Hungarian partner, RaktárAD, develops logistics centers specifically for SMEs and micro-enterprises. In the 36,000 square meter facility being built in the logistics park in Vecsés, smaller companies and workshops can rent 2,000 square meters of space.
The company previously built warehouses totaling 200,000 square meters in Alsónémed and Nagytarcsa.
The company informed MTI that the utilization of the logistics base in Nagytarcsa is 100 percent, and that the center in Vecsés can be expected to be filled with tenants in 3-5 years.
