At PENNY, social responsibility has been a particularly important area since the beginning, and the support of good causes is an inseparable part of it. During the decade and a half of cooperation with Együtt a Daganatos Gyermekékért Foundation, the company has so far donated more than 100 million forints to the organization. Through joint offerings with customers, they contributed to the treatment of the smallest patients, mainly by purchasing medical instruments of high importance and by renewing and expanding the foundation’s car park. The most recent charity campaign started at the end of November, and the goal was to collect HUF 10 million, to which customers in PENNY stores could contribute HUF 20 for each product by purchasing goods marked with the logo.
