Hungarian customers get information online before shopping
Hungarian customers do obtain information online before doing the actual shopping in most of the cases – according to a survey conducted by TNS Infratest, ordered by Google.
Thousand customers and nearly seven thousand purchases have served as the basis of the survey, which is centered around the consumer habits of 18-60 year-old Hungarians. The major focus of those conducting online searches is technical devices, in fact 88 percent of those asked use some sort of an online research-tool before making the actual purchase. 54 percent checks the official site of the producer, while 49 percent checks the distributor of the given product. 44 percent of Hungarians use online auction portals as well. Barely 3 percent of Hungarian customers do not use any online facilities at all.
