The business sentiment in Germany was less than expected
The business sentiment in Germany was less than expected and in the euro area deteriorated noticeably in October, according to the survey of the Mannheim-based Zentrum für Europäische Wirtschaftsforschung Institute of Economics.
The ZEW announced on Tuesday that the sentiment index of the German financial analysts for the next six months increased by 0.6 points to 17.6 points in October, remaining below the 23.8-point long-term average. Experts expected 20.0 points after September’s 17.0. (MTI)
