Varga Winery: 70 percent of the Hungarian wine market is black
The estimated proportion of wine sold in black markets in Hungary is at least A 60-70 percent – states the Varga winery in its communication sent to MTI on Monday.
Varga Péter, owner of the Varga Winery, which has an annual sale of 11 million bottles of wine said: it is hard to understand why the governments tolerated this situation for so long. At least, 45 percent of wines marketed in Hungary bypasses taxation – reports MTI.
