Varga Mihály: the operational body adopted a six-point financial package

Building on the proposals of the Hungarian Banking Association and the Ministry, the operational body adopted six measures on Tuesday, all of which make financial management simpler, cheaper and faster, announced Minister of Finance Mihály Varga on Tuesday after the meeting of the economic protection operational body in Budapest.

One measure said that where an electronic cash register would operate, electronic payment would also be possible. This means 50-60 thousand new places and reduces the use of cash by tens of billions of forints.

The extension of e-banking will simplify financial management for businesses and the general public and will reduce the number of personal banking services by up to two million a year, he pointed out. (MTI)
