Varga Árpád: the online cash registers are effective against frauds
There is no one hundred percent efficient solution to eliminate the VAT frauds, there will always be cheaters in the system according to the Vice President of NAV.
Varga Árpád told Napi Gazdaság that 83 to 86 percent of the tax differences found by the auditors are connected to the Value Added Tax (VAT), so the authority will continue to target the VAT frauders. The online cash registers are assisting the work of the Authority. Up to now 670 billion HUF worth receipts have arrived to the center.
