The price of new potatoes fell by half unexpectedly

On the 16th week the most common price of domestic new potatoes fell to 700 forints at the wholesale market of Budapest, from the 1300 forints of the 13th week – magro.hu wrote.

Compared to a year before, this represents a 22 percent decrease.
At the same time, the observed weekly average price of potatoes grown last year surpassed the prices of the 16th week of 2018. (AKI, magro.hu)
