Euro area GDP grew in excess of expectations in the third quarter
Euro area gross domestic product (GDP) grew at a faster pace in the third quarter than in the previous quarter and higher than market expectations, according to Eurostat’s first quarter-on-quarter and annual comparisons.

Euro area economy performs well in third quarter
In the euro area, GDP grew by 2.2 percent from the previous quarter, compared with 2.1 percent in the second quarter. Euro area gross domestic product was 3.7 percent higher than a year earlier in the third quarter. (MTI)
