EU labor safety regulations are changing
Though the hearing of the workers has been protected by many measures, so far, from March 2019, the European Union’s new rules on personal protective equipment will come into force, which requires workers to be protected from noise, from falling down or from the inhalation of harmful substances.
According to a 2016 EU regulation, hearing impairment is one of the most significant health hazards in the workplace, so every employer must provide adequate hearing protection for its employees.
