Changing weight of store types
The six-month market of general cleaners is between HUF 5 and 6 billion. In the examined period value sales rose 4 percent but volume sales reduced by 2 percent from the base period (the first six months of 2013). Hypermarkets’ share from value sales was down 2 percentage points at 30 percent. The 401-2,500m² channel and drugstore’s share rose 1 percentage point each to 23 percent. 51-200m² stores’ share dropped from 13 to 12 percent and the 201-400m² channel’s share grew from 4 to 5 percent.
